In this section, we will present a few key concepts on preterm birth, health and development . We will look at different ways of calculating age, to take prematurity into account. We will discuss how to prevent infections, as the baby’s immune system is not yet fully developed. There will also be a section on key members of the health care team, a who’s who of professionals caring for you and your baby during and after your hospital stay.
